About the Challenge

The AHEAD System is an integrated tool which consolidates aircraft data from onboard systems and web-based databases providing integrated solutions to effective troubleshooting aircraft maintenance issues to reduce return to service time.

The solution provide airline with a prescriptive troubleshooting knowledge base capable to learn with experience collected from the mechanics and taking into account data as aircraft health (aircraft sensors alert), observed faults (Pilot Reports, Maintenance Reports), and reliability data.

So the challenge was to ideate a multi-platform Analytics Mechanical App (IOS, Android, Web) to provide real-time aircraft status to support strategic decisions to increase the availability of aircraft fleets.

My role

I led the User Experience process during the  Discovery phase. We planned several interviews with technical specilists to understand the most relevant KPIs to Maintenance, Repair and Operations companies.
Based on the needs and pains of the MRO analysts, we collaborative ideate dashboards to supply strategic information to help solve aircraft maintenance cases (out-of-service cases).
