About the Challenge

Beacon is a new fleet agnostic and multi-sided business platform designed to connect and synchronise industry resources, the aftermarket supply chain, and aviation services professionals in a more agile and efficient way, to keep aircraft flying.

The platform was developed for Web access, IOS and Android apps to instantly chat, share pictures and receive files from maintenance control to enable more efficient troubleshooting decisions.

The solution enable the aircraft mechanic to connect with airlines, and have instantly access to new cases, manage and dispatch technicians and collaborate in real time via APP and web access.

My role

Working with the EmbraerX team, I developed jobs related to the digital product but one of my main responsibilities was to connect the Business and Research team with the Software Development team.

To achieve it We planned and facilitated Design Sprint workshops and also I acted as a digital solution prototyper. At the end of each Sprint, we validate the prototype(s) and after generate the solution specifications to Software Engineer team.

The EmbraerX team are spread across the United States, Brazil, and Europe.
