About the Challenge

Databot develops intelligent systems to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve the quality of manufacturing production processes.

My Role

When I was contacted by the company, the project existed only in paper, based on research of an experienced manager of global manufacturing company.

I developed together with the initial squad(5), from the ideation to the development and validate of Smart Manufacturing solutions.

I worked as a Product Designer and it took 3 months of many interviews, meetings, and workshops to start ideate possible solutions for the challenges we want to solve.
We started planning a tool to manage the productivity of automated factories.
Next, I led the ideation, prototyping, and validation of a tool to manage the quality of parts in serial manufacturing.
After some rounds of validation iterations we were able to deliver valuable real-time information to assist industrial directors and managers to make decisions.

Finally, we designed and developed a tool for traceability of the production process, increasing efficiency in correcting manufacturing problems and also reducing damaged parts in the batch.
We used the Design Thinking process to guide the ideation and prototyping phases.

Databot Solutions was launched at the Hannover Messe 2018 fair in Germany.
In 2018 the startup received an investment for international expansion.

The tech startup showed unprecedented results with national technology and conquer some global clients with revenue of billions of euros a year.
